SAP Finance Master Data Analyst

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The SAP Finance Master Data Analyst is responsible for the creation, maintenance, validation, and governance of all finance-related master data within SAP and associated systems. The role ensures that financial master data is maintained accurately, timely, and in accordance with the company's Data Governance Framework.

The position works closely with the Finance and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) teams to ensure financial and supplier-related data supports efficient business operations, financial reporting, procurement activities, and regulatory compliance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary responsibilities of this role include the following:

• Create and maintain finance-related master data in SAP.

• Create, maintain, and update vendor and supplier records.

• Maintain purchasing prices, transfer prices, standard costs, and other finance-related master data elements.

• Ensure supplier and vendor data complies with governance standards and approval workflows.

• Validate master data requests for completeness and accuracy.

• Support Finance and SRM teams with master data requirements.

• Perform data quality reviews and periodic audits.

• Resolve master data discrepancies impacting financial processes.

• Maintain supporting documentation and process guidelines.

• Support SAP implementation, migration, and master data cleansing activities.

• Drive adherence to data governance standards across finance-related master data domains.

Education:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.

Professional experience:

• Minimum 3 years of SAP Master Data or Finance Operations experience.

• Strong understanding of vendor, pricing, and finance master data structures.

• Advanced English proficiency.

• Advanced SAP knowledge.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent attention to detail.
